The practice

I've worked as an advisor to AdClear, as fractional CTO for La Fomo, and with a number of teams on AI strategy and implementation across media, professional services, and the public sector. By the time organisations come to me, they've usually already tried to move quickly. The harder question is what comes next.

I take on a small number of engagements each year. The briefs I work best with are specific about what the organisation is trying to achieve, and come from leadership teams willing to hear findings that complicate the plan. If a brief doesn't suit the practice I'll say so early.

Selective build work for AI-native products and tools, usually in partnership with a small delivery team. Most often: a prototype, an evaluation harness, or a thoughtful internal interface to a frontier model.
Availability

Currently taking briefs for engagements starting autumn 2026. Earlier slots occasionally open up; it's worth asking.
